Born in New Orleans and raised in Southwest Louisiana next door to our family’s Cajun restaurant, Jean Lafitte. Studied French and traditional music at UL at Lafayette.
Favorite Tour to Give:
Cemetery tour because I am fascinated with death and have always preferred the company of the dead over the living.
Favorite all-around spot in New Orleans and why:
St. Roch cemetery and shrine. This place has so much history, beauty, and magic squeezed into one little spot.
Funniest/weirdest/spookiest thing on a tour:
During a night tour once I saw a man walking a ferret down Royal Street, on a leash, wearing only underwear, carrying a guinea pig.
Favorite NOLA fun fact:
New Orleans is the second oldest continuous settlement in Louisiana, founded in 1718, the oldest continuous settlement being Natchitoches, founded in 1714.
